"I grew up in Pleasanton, Nebraska, a small town of 375 people, on my family's farm. Growing up, I was a member and officer of my local 4-H club where I showed livestock and participated in Livestock Judging, a member and president of my high schools FBLA chapter, a member of the boy's varsity football, basketball, and golf teams, and worked on my family's farm in my spare time. I graduated the top of my class from Pleasanton High School in May 2017 and started to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I studied Mechanical Engineering. I had several internships and co-ops and plan to graduate from UNL in May 2022. I plan to start post-graduation work full time at Huffman Engineering where I have accepted a role as a Mechanical Engineer.
I am passionate about outdoor recreation including hunting, fishing, snow skiing, and water recreation. My time spent helping my father on the family farm also fostered a passion for understanding how machines and equipment work and trying to make them better. This passion helped drive my skills of problem solving and a desire to continually try to learn and improve my skills. I strive to learn something new everyday and improve my skills to better my professional and personal development. "
